I try to do a little bit of winter geocaching every year, despite that it's difficult because you can't be sure the cache is above the snow line, and
it's freaking cold. Two weekends ago I went out with The Boss and looked for a few in the area. We did surprisingly well, finding three caches.
The best part about winter geocaching is that sometimes it's incredibly beautiful hiking around the woods while the trees are covered in snow.
A cool cache, just because it was tricky to find despite being so obvious.
I hope no one can figure out where the cache is after we were there.
A difficult cache just because it required us to pretend we were Galapagos Island finches to get the cache out of the hidey hole.
