Canada commits $40 million, sends supplies to Indonesia, may send DART
just to bitchslap George W. Bush - committing an additional one million dollars more than the whole U.S. commitment. Maybe our northern neighbors wanted to approach our current government on a footing that Republicans feel historically comfortable with - MAD - mutually assured donation.
