Well, that was easier than I thought it would be.  I showed it to Eryn, she doesn't remember it being quite like this.

Thriller

Eryn had a band concert (she plays oboe) and play/choir concert at school yesterday before my wife's surgery. She was the hippie in their play about various characters disappearing Clue-like in the castle of a mad scientist. Turns out they were being trapped in books by the librarian. Where's Thursday Next when you need her?

Riding a bike at 80 kph down Trollstigen

Why? Because it's there I guess.  That does look like a fun place to ride a bike if you're not worried about cars.  Or trolls.

Why backwards?  Maybe he put his front tire on backwards, like Ming did and the only way to know he's going 80 kph is to go backwards?

Glitter Bomb

I saw the video of the glitter bomb of the anti-gay marriage group at the Minnesota State Fair and wanted to make sure my family saw it. I wish it had been more impressive, but it's still amusing to see people dumping glitter off the tram on a booth. Particularly as Ming posted a link to an article stating that 70% of fair goers disapproved of amending the state constitution to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

Babes in Bikeland

Saw this via Facebook this morning. I didn't even know Babes in Bikeland existed. I may have to volunteer if they'll let me bring Eryn with me.
