Media Fun, a Postpourri

I've been inundated with amusing things to see on the web lately, so I thought I'd post a few again:

J-Money has a gouge your eyes out Christmas video featuring Bryan Adams and Pee Wee Herman. It's almost impossible to watch end-to-end, which may fulfill her intent better than her Funky Funky Christmas link from last year, which was so campy it was funny.

The Revealer has a link to the Nothin Song on YouTube, which is a great cover of the Fugs, who you can listen to for free at that link. You can listen to many things for free at WFMU, but if you go to their page, kick it up and walk away, because even with a good connection their main MP3 page never seems to finish downloading.

Back to funny. This video by Derrick Comedy is called "Blow Job Girl". It's definitely nsfw, and it's not the funniest thing I've ever seen, but I love the hand gesture part. It reminds me of something that would have been popular with students in high school because their teachers would have been clueless as to what was going on. "Why are all the students walking around the hallways making that gesture?"

I also didn't think this mp3 parody of "Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire" at Chris Sell's site was immediately funny, until I got to the part in The Richter Scales "Here Comes Another Bubble" where they sing "blog, blog, blog it all, blog it if it's great or small, blog at the cineplex, blog while you're having sex, blog in the locker room, babies blogging in the womb, blog even if you're wrong..." They seem very enthusiastic about those lyrics.

Finally, just for family and friends - I didn't get to see the concert, but apparently Eryn is in choir. It's a choir that involves all the preschoolers, but they sang for morning meeting and do it again tomorrow, so pretty cool. I like the Snowpants song. It does a very strange but workable mashup when mixed with "Tired of Being Sorry" by Ringside in the background.
