Stories About My Sister

Kyle should appreciate this one. My Dad is staying with us this week, and he had this nice story to share about my sister.

Seems when my sister was in high school, Kyle's brother, Matthew, came to pick her up to take her out. My Dad asked him what his intentions were. He replied, "French fries."

Yeah, that's what they called it back in the day.

Ah, those were simpler, more innocent times, those halcyon days of the late 80's and early 90's. Kids running off to the corner store to spend a newly earned nickel on penny whistles and moonpies, or maybe heading to the drug store soda fountain to share an egg cream and a serving of french-fried potatoes. Those were the days....

"French fries" meant smoking a big pile of cocaine stuffed with weed between two slices of crack smothered in an acid sauce....naked. It's just what we did. We were bored.

You joke, but Matthew has to live on a lake in the middle of nowhere so he isn't near his old "friends".

Hey, wait a second! Matthew told the family one night a couple years back that he was going out for "french fries" with Cynthia. Next thing we know, they're announcing that little Jonny is on the way. Now it all makes sense!
