My First Try at YouTube

And it's a kid video - sorry if you were expecting grandiose art or pointed political commentary. Have to start small and give the bulk of my audience (mom, dad and the inlaws) something to appreciate. I'm doing a link instead of an embedded object because 1.) I don't know how to embed it, despite the code YouTube gives me, because Blogger doesn't like embed codes, and 2.) because I still use dial up, and I don't want to wait for 10 megs of download everytime I preview my own pages. Call me selfish if you must.

Very cute!

But your niece has a freakish ability to rotate her head around... Ballet dancer in the making?

When we lived in Monticello, the old guy down the road used to show me all the Native American things that were on the property behind my house - so we were probably over N.A. burial areas. Perhaps evil spirts have been passed through my sister who slept on those grounds to my niece - you know, she could be possessed. That would absolutely explain the head turning.

Mostly, she just likes to mug for the camera.

Mug for the camera? That is her state of being--she naturally grits her teeth and does exorcist-neck all the time.

Ah the future of that kid: Ballet dancer, owl impersonator, native american-possessed hapa-girl--The world is her oyster.

Yeah, I didn't want to say she was freakishly like Linda Blair, but now that you mention it...

That girl's got talent!
